I really want to swap out the front suspension with the Bilstein 5100 in the front and then use the rear springs and shocks that come with the Rough country kit. Here's my dilemma,,,,,, if I put the Bilsteins on the front (at their lowest setting) can I still use the spacers from the other kit?

What makes you want to do that? Why not do exactly as I did and run 5100s all the way around with ToyTec 2.0 coils in the rear? No spacers needed, no mixing of kits/brands, and you end up with a great ride and quality parts for a bit over $500...
That's probably what I'm going to do. I was just looking at your pictures and it looked like your front end was still a little raked. Maybe its just the pavement. I was thinking that because I wanted the full 3'' in the front but also wanted the ride quality with the Bilsteins. I'm trying to get the best of both.

Ahhh, I see. If you're wanting more than the 2.5" then you'll need to combine the 5100s with either spacers, or aftermarket coils (I would recommend getting ToyTec coils instead of using spacers to achieve 3" of lift). I'd still stick with 5100s and ToyTec 2.0s in the rear though, instead of the rough country stuff.
Yeah the rough country kit just seems to cheap. If it's one thing I know it's ''Good things aren't cheap, and cheap things aren't good''!

Alright, guys... so after I got the lift installed we took it for a test drive. I locked it in 4-low and locked the center-diff, then we played around a bit. Didn't do anything wild and definitely didn't hurt anything... but when I disengaged the center diff and put it back in 4hi these lights stayed on and have been on ever since... what is the deal?
I know this may sound stupid and unrelated but it appears that you have recently filled up with gas. Have you checked your gas cap to make sure its on all the way? Got the same lights and pulled the codes and the solution was to tighten the gas cap and pull the negative cable off for 10 mins and then put it back and everything was normal and has been that way since.

Definitely not the gas cap, I've filled up like 3 times since they came on, but I'll try the battery trick! Kinda figured that would be the case, but wanted to ask anyways!

Hey it's what these things are for right?Hopefully I can go wheeling with some jeep buddies this weekend. On your vsc/trac/abs problem, idk if it's the same for 4runners but my moms sienna had the same problem. I believe it was the catalytic converter or something like that. I remember it was some weird, strange reason

The wife bought me an extension for my Rola rack! Looks much better! Now I am going to fab my own low-profile brackets modeled after the kit from Armor Tech Offroad.

Curious if you were able to get this fixed? I had a similar issue but mine would come on randomly instead of staying on. Also, the ABS randomly kicked on a couple times while driving. After some research I did the "Zero point calibration" and that fixed my problem.

Took a few hours yesterday to give both rides a hand wash, polished out some freshly added "pinstripes," and touched up some rock chips!

yep she's look'n good. Glad to read the 255/80/17 fit. Lookn for some FJ wheels and when found will likely go that rout. I was a little hesitant because my 265/70/17 rub a little with reverse in full turn crank. looks like 255 and FJ's should fix that. Who needs front mud flaps anyways right. 33's fill the wheel wells nicely. and nice to have that little extra clearance...
