thanks for the tip. If I replaced the springs, do I need anything additional like coil mounts? I'm assuming all the bushings and mounts can be re-used if in ok shape? Just want to get it right this time around. Any advantages to this option rather than a quick-strut or shock+spring assembly?

sway bar links and bushings all check out. obviously worn with the mileage, but not compromised in any way that I can tell.

update Just to update the situation - I got some time to get into the engine, and the throttle body was completely gunked up. Cleaning it out with some engine cleaner and a toothbrush completely resolved the idling issue. I also changed the plugs for good measure and she purrs like a kitten

mass air flow sensor and O2 sensor replaced about 4 months ago. i plan on running some fuel injector cleaner (done), recharging my K&N (done today), and changing the plugs and see how that helps
