yeah, i was wondering how easy it was to scrape off when taking it DT for rotations...don't want to beat the guys down by asking if they could be careful when removing the lug nuts... thanks Hepar, PM sent.

anyone using these? i want to plasti-dip my wheels and was thinking about getting the black lug nuts as well since DT had to break off the locking lug on each wheel due to not having the key...feedback appreciated. cheers,

so i decided to get out of my loan on my 06 SE 4X4 and pay cash for a 3rd gen. found a clean 99 Limited 4X4 with 191K on the clock with recent TB/WP work done, the first 75K was serviced exclusively with the Toyota Dealership with all recommended service done and stamped in maint log. receipts...

most likely it's a gas cap issue. same thing happened to me as my old gas cap was not creating enough seal when closing. replaced the gas cap had no more issue.

...and to further hijack this thread...talked to a guy at DT and they will test a tire and if it rubs they will not sale that tire...

will Discount Tire mount a 265/75/16 on a 3rd gen 4runner even though their system says that will not work?
