Did you level the panhard bar in the rear as well? If it is at it's limit already, then when you go over a bump, the rear may pull one way or another perhaps depending on your lift.

Preassembled seems like it would be more difficult. Toyota CVs are premium quality, so theoretically just reboot them and you'd be ok.

On my third OEM. I tried a generic on on my 1st head gasket job but that failed quickly. Then had to do my head gasket 100k miles later because I didn't deck the heads and did the pump again for good measure.

Almost need it running on a lift to diagnose with a stethoscope. At 200k miles, it likely is the bearing, though. And yea they are a pain, especially with the ebrake. I paid a shop $75 a piece to press the bearings on and off the axles. Well worth it for me.

240,000 2005 v6. Just recently on about 3 of 5 cold starts I get a chain rattle for a split second. Once started once, it is fine. Almost as if the timing tensioner stopped catching the ratchet to keep full tension and it relies on the oil pressure on startup. Any ideas?

Take photos, get baggies and write where bolts go.there are just a few vacuum hoses and brackets for the upper air box to get out of the way. It isn't too difficult.
