My wife really likes the looks of the new Defender, we haven't driven one yet. I've read a bunch of reviews and not great but the 22-23 models seem to have improved. Anyone on here have real, genuine experience, not just what you've heard or read about?

The title pretty much says it all. I too often have my keys in my pocket set off the alarm, either change or pocket knife or something hits the button.

70 now but bought it when I was "only" 69! My previous Toyota was a FJ Cruiser and had it not been demolished in a wreck I would still be driving it!

It sounds like you will be doing essentially the same driving as I have done in Delaware, no joy driving or "playing" just on and off the beach, I go to surf fish. I haven't used the T4R yet but should be the same as the FJ Cruiser I had, I don't air down as much as recommended, no lower than 25...

On the FJ Forum it was often suggested to replace the factory hitch especially if using a weight distributing hitch, how good is the stock hitch on my 2020 T4R?

I like to get tires that are somewhat common. If I get a cut tire while they are fairly new I want t get a replacement tire of the same brand/model quickly whether I'm near home or out of state traveling.

I've had my coopers on for a bit over 2 weeks and just made my first trip that had 65 mph speed limits so maybe a little over 70 cruising, much quieter than the KO2s that I had on my FJ Cruiser but that may not be a fair comparison. I've done a few wet pavement miles and some very mild off road...

You are the one that most understands, I'll be 70 next month and that location sucks. If you leave an extension plugged in all of the time it will corrode and I've reached under and opened the little cover and had water come out. I will look into relocating it.

But then when you're not towing you are driving around with a wire and plug end hanging down, not really a good alternative.

Don't know about others but in my many years of driving this 2020 T4R has the worst location and angle for plugging in the trailer lights, has anyone moved them?

E-Trailer doesn't verify that either of those fit. Does your Curt fit up tight with the bumper, any mods or drilling needed to install?

Does anyone make a front receiver hitch that will fit my 2020 SR5? I'd like one for holding my surf rod rack that I used on my FJ Cruiser.
