but is there a background lights so that you can see the dial at night (similar to the other two dials)?

does the fan speed setting have an insturmentation light? when all the other instrument lights are lit at night, i cannot see the fan dial, i can only see the setting that it is on (low, medium, etc.). if the fan is off, then there is no light at all for the dial.

make sure you lock the center diff (vsc off) otherwise there is a good chance you could get stuck (especially if you are at oregon inlet in the soft stuff). i had a '94 toy pickup and a '93 4runner that both did much much better in the sand than my '04. as much as it sucks, i would recommend...
