My 93 toy has a back seat heater, it never gets used and takes up a lot of space in my central console, its about 2 inches deep, has anyone removed the heater and if so what did you replace the console with.

Thats one of the advantages of living out in the bonnies. The Toy runs just great, I don't have enough miles to say if it helped or hurt mileage. but it runs great. Kevin, I was having a hard time sealing the pipes that are attached to the exhaust headers. I also had a valve cover oil leak on the passenger side so I had to pull the air chamber to get to it and of course all related attachments, reed valve and egr valve. The EGR valve has never been hooked...

I had them on my 93 but removed them, I am tall and couldn't see if I was looking up on a mountain or hill.

why are you dropping your tank??? if its to remove the fuel pump, cut a hole under the back seat on the passenger side...

Found the junk yard, and it was a junk yard, and found the duct I was looking for. He did have a few Toyota's but wasn't sure where they were. I found a 93 pickup and it had the duct, $15.00 dollars later we were on the way home. Tried it in my 93 and it went in great, I now have defrosters on...

I never gave any thought to craigslist just called a guy about 80 miles north of me and he said he had 6 or 7 Toyota 4runners and trucks, heading up that way first of next week......... Thanks for the tip
