Finished welding this NWTI kit, looks alright. i don't dig the gap but it'll fit a 36" light bar nicely.

I was wondering if any of you guys have tried using tundra coils on a 4th gen 4runner. I have a set of FJ shocks that need coils and I found some tundra TRD coils for cheap that could possibly work with those shocks and most likely lift the sagged front end.

BUMPING I happen to have found some cheap tundra coils and I'm trying to find out if anyone tried putting them on FJC shocks and installing them into a 4th gen.

I'm trying to add powered usb outlets to the center console (7.2amp), does anyone know of an existing wire i can splice into? (one which isn't ACC powered but constantly on, I'll have an on/off switch for said outlets).

so i've been playing spintires 2014 for a week now. i beat all the maps and i'm really enjoying it. there is only a handful of mods so far but i already tried the mercedes and the cherokee. i'm posting on the oovee forum trying to get someone to put a 4runner in the game.

took a trip to PA and went kayaking and other stuff

got the rims painted black and put some nitto terra glaplers on em

the fuses were fine. just the alternator decided to quit.

it was the alternator, should've known. you should always check all the connections before replacing the alternator though. i'm glad i got a good mechanic. i gave her a front lift too.

got the battery tested, it's fine. i'm taking it to s shop tomorrow to do the lift anyway (too many seized bolts to do it without shop tools). i'll let you guys know what the issue was.

so i charged the battery and it's fine. but when i start the 4runner the battery light shows up. looks like a bad alternator at this point. what do u guys think?

will do. i'm just confused by two things. why would the battery not charge while driving, and why would the engine die when there's no power, shouldn't it just run off the alternator if the battery is bad?

i'm about to go get one. should i just take the battery and have it tested? also, how do you check the alternator?
