Ran a quick search, and didn't come up with anything. Is there a no-hack method of disabling or turning off the full time 4WD on the 4th gen V8s? Going on a real long road trip soon, and could use on the gas savings if possible.

they ended up replacing the entire transfer case. appears to be fine now.

So, looked to take our new 07 V8 4WD T4R off highway, and upon arrival, I shifted to neutral, and switched from 4HI to 4LO. At this point, the 4LO indicator was flashing. As I shifted from neutral to drive, it continue flashing, but was also now beeping. It did not go away, even after driving...

Took delivery yesterday... and, installed this a couple hours after can't wait to get her dirty! :D
