Not sure if this is the right place to discuss, but I did do a "heated seats" search and didn't find very much to this effect. I have 2007 Limited V6 and have been dissapointed with the seat warmers [especially when it's below -5c]. By contrast: - In a 2007 VW Rabbit w. 5-stage seat warmers...

I have noticed a generally rough[er than most other vehicles] idle on my 4runner... roughly the same miles as yours, although no noise. Anyone else?

I filed a complaint with Toyota Canada about this claiming negligence for consumers in a climate where even their website encourages seasonal tire changes. I'm still waiting to hear back from them.

So... to be clear... I have TPMS working fine now on my stock 18" Rims... but if I were to have 17" snow alloys with TPMS in them as well my truck would need to be re-programmed?

I think it's more that I'm not tall. I usually have to reduce the seatpost for people over 5'9" ;)

Hey all, Just to follow up - I looked into the bar at princess auto but ended up going with a simpler setup. One 1"x6" cedar deck board with rounded edges (cut to 37") Two $16 clamps from MEC [www.mec.ca] Velcro adhesives from Home Depot. Holds very well under cornering and braking.

That looks great. My only question is how you secured the fork mounts (presumably with two holes for bolts) to the cargo bar.

Hey, I did this last weekend with my cheaper, lesser LeMond Tourmalet and am not fearing for the safety of the bike but for the cleanliness of the 4runner. It worked well for sure, but had it poured rain or been muddy on the streets I wouldn't have wanted to lay it down in the back like that...
