this would not be hard to fab. I went to a shop today and they said if i had the tubing cut to size they would bend & weld it for little $.

so i think I have a plan for the 4runner. What i'm looking at is the TG-4" sas and 4" lift in the rear to run 36 tsl's and some armor. and dam that' not cheep. Still have some reading to do but I think it should work fine.

well it runs ok it's a little sluggish when it starts off but then it cleans up.

so 36's and 4" with the 3.0 is no good

ok im new here and I would like to know what makes a monster 4runner.I have a 1988 and I was thinking of starting a build.

I picked up my first 4runner this past weekend. its a 88 3.0 sr5 that is going to be the family trail truk. after looking it over i have no idea where to start.

its hard to find OK I have been looking on t4r for about two weeks and I will say that it's not easy to find a 1st gen runner in north Carolina. so far I found one that I'm waiting on a call from him but what I can tell it is independent and has the 3.o So that would put it from a 86 to a 90 right?
