doing it for the kids

I'm looking for a 4runner now for a trail truck so my 2 and 6 year old kids can come on my trips with me. I have a 1985 pick up now that I hit the trails with but on my last 3 day trip my kids wanted to go but I didn't have the room for them so now it will be a 4runner. and a lot of time and money to get it ready for the trails.

its hard to find

OK I have been looking on t4r for about two weeks and I will say that it's not easy to find a 1st gen runner in north Carolina. so far I found one that I'm waiting on a call from him but what I can tell it is independent and has the 3.o So that would put it from a 86 to a 90 right?
