Ok I installed 1of these bulbs into the door. Next thing I know, the dome #17 fuse is blown I switched the bulb over to change polarity, add a new fuse and there is no door ligh. Long story short - the ground wire going to the door light is now shorted. WTF!!!!!! How can I get this...

I just bought a NEW one for my 07 from remotez4less for 33 Bux+ shipping. They send you the programming instructions ( you do yourself) and a 2nd battery. Had it in hand in 72 hours! ;):

This reply has nothing to do with the the original question. Was meant clear discrepancy on the towing cap of the 70779 and whether a VW Golf could be towed. I've got my answer and the 70779 is on the way. :driving:

I have an 07. I'd probably be lifting only for cosmetic puposes and to accomodate a slightly larger tire. Would the daystar be overkill?

How much of a weight difference between those wheels and OE 17's? Maybe there isn't because rims are lighter? Is there a lot of road noise with those tires?

Bought a key and remote off Ebay. Received the remote today. Programmed it myself; open door, insert-remove key, close open-door, close-open door, insert-remove key, insert-remove key, foot on head, ear on nose, blaha blah blah. Procedures work like a charm though..

I just bought my first Toyota; a 2007 T4R 4X4, 19,000 miles, leather. I noticed a few nights ago that I can't see the switches for the windows. They are not illuminated. Is this normal or is there something wrong?
