No button light

I just bought my first Toyota; a 2007 T4R 4X4, 19,000 miles, leather.

I noticed a few nights ago that I can't see the switches for the windows. They are not illuminated. Is this normal or is there something wrong?

The driver's side window switch and the text "Auto" should be lit. That's the one and only.

That's why when your insignificant other is with you, lock the doors so she/he cannot leave. :D

lmao:D

It does really suck !! Other people that get into my car at night are like what the hell , where is the stuff.

Hopefully this issue and others will be addressed by Toyota in the next generation of the 4Runner.

BTW, has anyone seen any announcement from Toyota as to exactly when the next generation will be on sale in the USA?????
With the release of the next generation models of the RAV4, Highlander, Sequoia and Tundra in the last year or so that means the 4Runner should be coming soon one would think.

There are too many discussions on this already, but it is looking like the end of '09, for the '10 model.

Yeah...i just noticed mine the other night. I couldn't hit the right buttons as I tried to lower my window. Its funny cuz my dad's 88 Camry has these small lights on each power window button. 20 years later...Toyota decides to do away with it? :bash:

Or if you have friends riding in your truck you can shut the outside air vent, lock the windows and doors, then rip a massively stinky monumentally cheek vibrating blow the dried sh*t nuggets off your ass hairs FART.

Sometimes new isn't always better. Here's a little more fuel for the fire, the third gen had auto up and down on both front windows. 4th gens only have the driver's side.
