    Thanks.. Yes I have had the 2 rubber ring problems before, and yes that happens immediately. I tightened down and no oil leaks today. I am not sure, seems when the AC is on the engine vibrates a bit more and maybe it shakes the filter loose?? I just have to remember to look under the car...

    I re-red my post.. I do have a life, just not a lift! yeah drivers side.. lefty loosy, righty tighty right? I took my son out and we thought deeply about that. the drivers side nut on the tire rod should go left to loosen.. correct? (always in doubt when things don't work)
