same issue Hello, I had the same issue last summer. Took it to the dealer, they put another headunit. Couple of months ago, started happening again due to heat. This time I will just leave it as is. :happens:

rusting My 07 4Runner is rusting as well. I let the dealer and Toyota know, but their response was that it's due to NY salty roads and since it was not rusting from the inside out, they refused to do anything about it. Definitely not buying another 4Runner.

problem Had the same thing happened in my 07 4R sports...It happened randomly during last summer. In addition my radio display was all scrembled... I took it in to the dealership and they swapped the radio. You may have to take it in, so they can swap the cd player.

price $15K is overpriced. Better to finance or lease a new one!

alarm Get Viper 5900 SST. You can buy additional accessories for it that can make it super sensitive. My alarm goes off every time someone touches the car, pretty annoying....

price MikesToy, $39,062 seems too much considering nowadays... look for other dealerships...Also, read some of the problems that 4Runner has.... rusting begins right away, music systems acts up, gas milege is not the best, with all these problems it is outrageous for them to be selling the car...
