Ive got a 99 Sport also. They come factory with 1" taller springs than all other 3rd gens. I am thinking about doing some bilstein 5100 also. Im curious what level did you use on the strut? was it the 1.25" or 2.5"?

So i currently live in VT with the possibility of moving to California. I am looking at a 2004 4runner sport 4.0. This car is obviously not a California edition so am i going to have trouble getting it smogged if i were to move there? Thanks in advance Colin

With my 2000 SR5 V6 5speed i was getting up to 23 mpg with ethanol free gas. Since then i have lifted it 3 inches, still on 265/70/16 but VT has done away with ethanol free gas and i am now getting 19mpg mixed highway/city with AC
