    Front wiper arm adjustment

That's my fear, but I'm hoping that the sweep is adequate. Since we're on the road until 12/28 I'm hoping this is good enough to work. If not, I'll be tearing into the motor when we get back home to my own tools and (heated & well-lit) garage.

    Front wiper arm adjustment

Easy diy Alright, so I'm almost embarrassed how easy this repair was. I figured it would be straightforward but I'm used to working on over-engineered BMWs, so I wasn't sure if I'd run into something weird. Turns out this is easier and quicker than vacuuming the floorboards. Here are pics of...

    Front wiper arm adjustment

Hey, all. Merry Xmas/happy holidays. We recently took the 99 Limited through a car wash - the kind with the big felt rollers - and during the cycle the overhead roller messed up our wiper arms. As the roller was hitting the windshield we heard a "click" sound and both front wipers moved up a...

    4 wheel drive indicator flashing

BTW, I was able to click the link in the thread above and it worked just fine. I don't know if - as you suspect - they were having server/bandwidth issues, or if you might not be logged in. I don't find that forum quite as good as this one, but there is some good stuff to be found there so it's...

    4 wheel drive indicator flashing

Here is some of the salient text from that thread: Okay fellow yota owners; I went to Toyota today and they had to order both sensors that I wanted. I wanted the Center diff lock sensor which is on the passenger side of the transfer case, and the sensor for the front diff. Here's the part #...

    4 wheel drive indicator flashing

This is the thread you need. It saved me a pant load of time and money. 4WD won't disengage on 99 4Runner LTD - YotaTech Forums It needs to be re-written up here for sure. The short of it - your kid can drive it as-is but when she gets it back to your garage, replace the errant switch on the...

Any good DIY leather seat repair?

The bimmerforums guys swear by Leatherique's stuff. I just ordered a steering wheel refurb kit for a M3 wheel I'm putting in my 540. If I get good results I'll be rehabbing my T4R's driver seat. Like OP's, all of my seats are in great shape except for a worn seat bottom on the driver's seat...

    Interior LED kit?

Hey, all. I'm looking to upgrade my dash lights to LEDs (especially since I have a few lights out already) and am wondering if someone who has already made the conversion has a comprehensive list of the bulbs needed. I did try the none-too-helpful search feature on the board and came up dry...

Best, most complete shop manual for 3d gen?

Hey, all. New to the Toyota family with my 99 T4R limited. It's my wife's, but I have a few little mods planned :D It will likely serve light duty in SAR beginning in about 12 months, so mods will likely include Highlander springs and new 33"s, removed boards, new lights, snatch D-rings, and...
