I am curious why LED lighting for under the DASH? I just purchased a set of hyper-white bulbs to change my dash to white. I am eager to see how they compare to everyone elses "LED White"

Hi
Sorry I'm pretty sure this have been asked already but I need help. I read the last 7 pages and I keep seeing a bunch of different bulbs sizes and colors. So I rather post here and get a direct answer.
I have a 97 4Runner Limited and looking to fix my AC control lights and gear selector lights. I am looking for the bulbs with the lighting and color will be close to stock as possible. Where can I order it and how many do I need? I think I rather have non-led bulbs.
Thank you in advance.
here is what i ordered for my 2001 This is a copy of my order from SuperbrightLEDS

Just ordered a set for my '99 T4R limited. Will post pics when I'm done.
yeah X2 ^^ Vleds is awesome. Their customer service is superb! I forgot to order a base to one of the LED's and they sent it out immediately! (i had to pay for the idem of course) but ven with some of my warranty stuff, i got my new bulbs so fast!
On a side note. has anyone or does anyone know what bulbs they use in the somewhat newer corolla's and Camery's? For those of you that like the white like me, their recent cars have a white bulbs on their speedo's and no hot spots! wondering if this could be an option??
This thread was very helpful, thank you all that gave input. Did mine last night, takes about any hour. I decided to post a pic b/c I didnt see any reds on this forum.
PS_ The light in the glove box seem pretty hard to get to. I can't seem to pull it out from the front, and trying to pop out the receptor from the rear is even harder. Anyone got some tips for that one. It's a 98.
brighter and no more hotspots? Done!
hey you guys go here is my modded A/C switch
the a/c section is lit with a t3 neo wedge from v leds.
the on/off indicator is a bit more tricky than just plug and play. i when to fry's ( you can go to any electronics store) to buy a solder in led type. i ended up buying a Linrose BCMD204UWC white led and unsolder the old green and resoldered in the new white led. this is a T1 3mm led.
