it may be the 'ball joint' i'm not sure specifically what it is, it is in the front left wheel well so i'm sure what you described is correct

the 4runner is back and everything seems fine now.. not sure if this bolt mishap happened during install or during alignment. I just loctite on majority of bolts during install and the people that helped me have done the install several times on different 4runners

The brushguard is made by Manik, as mentioned earlier. The guard has to hinges on each side that you lift up then angle the top part of the brush guard away from the truck, not a big deal. I had to remove the front mud guards (good amount of rubbing on that) and without them at full turn...

This brush guard needs to be unattached and moved forward to open the hood. It takes about 2 seconds but gives it a general cleaner look
