Just wanted to update you guys on my current situation just to make sure anyone installing this kit pays attention to this. The story:
I was at work, went to subway for lunch, as i was backing up I heard a large grinding / clanking sound and the 4runner stopped backing up although the engine was still reving. I originally thought that this was something related to either the transmission or the differential due to it only happening in reverse, and when turning the wheel. I brought it to the dealer (drive still worked although steering was a bit scary) and they began to look at it. I got a call from them stating that the front left uball joint bolt had come loose and fell out. I was waiting for them to tell me that this was due to the suspension lift although I had brought the 4runner to them a month ago to do an alignment and paid another $100 for them to check the suspension components and make sure everything was how it should be.
They called me back and tried to screw me on the cost although after a long argument I got them to cover it due their lack of catching the problem a month ago. I just wanted to make sure that anyone else installing the kit remembers to torque this bolt correctly (although I believe we did after installing) just to make sure this doesn't happen to them. I'm sure this is probably an installation error on our part however just thought I'd let you all know.
