How are you calculating distance traveled? It would have to be GPS-based with the new tires in order for it to be accurate. The odometer and computer will read less miles traveled using the oversized tires vs stock tires, hence it will skew your calculation saying you're getting worse...

I've always been tossed with the same question. I bought the Platinum VSA on my '06 Sport V8 as an add-on to the certified pre-owned when I purchased my 4Runner two years ago. Can't remember exactly what it cost, maybe around $1200 if I'm not mistaken. Wasn't sure if I'd ever use it...then...

Yeah, sorry for the extended delay. I installed the spacers about 2 weeks ago. I love them. No change to drivability or ride. The only difference I noticed is a slight decrease in visibility over the hood, given the truck is now a few inches nose high. I haven't adjusted my headlights, not...

Haven't installed them yet. I'm literally sitting on the beach in Hawaii right now. I get home after the new year. Will be installing the spacers shortly after I return.

I'm not sure what to expect. I'd be happy wth anything between 1.25" and 2". I doubt it will be over 2"...we will see!!
