Lift help please!!??

I have installed a 3/4 high grade metal front spacer leveling kit that I bought from Even Steven last year. It was from the "Jason Burtman Collection" lol. You should ask Burtman for them! He seems like a real cool guy who knows his stuff and his website is pretty cool. He spent awhile explaining to me about most of his lift kits.

Even Steven sold me the spacers for about $100 bucks!
They are very high quality the 3/4" material gave me a total 1.5" lift. I would not go any higher (in my opinion) because I am almost level! When I towed my 2 jet skis I was just a hair Nose High. If you go 2" inches I would put money that you would look really close to being NOSE HIGH even if you werent towing anything.
If you are going to take time to install leveling spacers up front I would just go ahead and put a Cornfed lift kit on all fours. Maybe a 2/1. I am going to buy a 3/2 kit from Burtman now because I fell in love with the Cooper 285 STT's and because I need new tires sooooon. I love my level kit but now it stinks because I have to take everything off and re-install a new kit.
Your taste may change so keep that in mind....mine did! I got a tiny lift up front and now I want BIGGER and on all fours this time!
These pictures stink because shes dirty with lots of road grime. The spacers have made no noises and will not rust...they are just dirty.

Here these two shots you can see the lift but rear sag because i dont have any lift in the rear

take the measurement when checking for level, dont just eye the running board. when you raise the front, to alot of people it makes the running board look like its going uphill. look at the whole picture. imagine the RB not being there. some guys take em off so its not noticable . again, take the measurement. i think youll be happy with a 2 in. lift in front on an 06. maybe some wheel spacers too.

IS_350, did you ever manage to get the spacer installed, and if so how much actual lift was achieved? I hate to beat a dead thread, but I just purchased the same DAYKT09117BK kit and was wondering what my end result would be.
Yeah, sorry for the extended delay. I installed the spacers about 2 weeks ago. I love them. No change to drivability or ride. The only difference I noticed is a slight decrease in visibility over the hood, given the truck is now a few inches nose high. I haven't adjusted my headlights, not sure if I should. In the past 2 weeks, I haven't had a single person flash their lights at me, so I assume it's not an issue.
Ok, now for the specs. To calculate the increase in lift I took measurements from two places. 1) From the center of the hub to the bottom of the front wheel well (yes straight up); and 2) from the tow hook to the ground. I did this for both left and right side, before and after install. Here are the results:
Method 1 (left): Before: 19.25 in / After: 21.5 in
Method 1 (right): Before: 19 in / After: 21 in
Method 2 (left): Before: 13 in / After: 16.25 in
Method 2 (right): Before: 12.75in / After: 16 in
Method 1 (from the hub to the wheel well) shows about a 2 inch increase in space. Method 2 averages about a 3 inch lift, meaning the tow hooks are about 3 inches further from the ground after the spacer install. Given the tow hooks are forward of the wheel hubs, it only makes sense that they have risen further. The futher forward of the pivot point, the more lift you'll see. If I took a measurement from the ground to the tip of the front bumper before and after, it would be even more than 3 inches higher (hence my comment earlier about visiblity from the drivers seat).
CONCLUSION: THE DAYSTAR 1" FRONT SPACER KIT (A.K.A. BUDGET BOOST) WILL LIFT YOUR TRUCK 2" AT THE FRONT WHEELS.
I did do a wheel alignment as soon as I installed the spacers. I highly recommend an alignment after install.
Keep in mind your results may vary a tad depending on the condition on your springs/struts and whether you have the XREAS suspension (I do). And as mentioned in an earlier posting, there will always be some variability between the left and right side (unless you offset the size of the spacers of course).
Finally, I apologize for the poor pictures, but hope all this info helps.
