I'm guessing you're trying to engage the diff-lock with the switch while in 4H, correct ? That's the issue I'm looking to solve... It won't engage unless you're in 4L (low range), but the light will stop flashing & stay solid. I'd like to be able to lock the rear diff in 2WD and 4HI, and hope...

Sorry for the delay, I got sidetracked after taking the pics... It's definitely higher in the rear, even if your perception is different... When I looked at it evenly, these are the measurements I saw. Even if the pics don't exactly show it. Front = ~21.75" / Rear = ~22.75"

I'll run out in a minute and measure... Will edit upon return. You're welcome. And in my case, just 5100's @ 2.5" in the front (no rear lift) set the truck 1/2" higher in the front than the back. A 1" rear lift should give you a slight "rake" but close to level (see my pic above), 1.5" might...

There would be no foreseeable issues. You could save yourself some $ though by just buying new tires for the factory 20's (paint them gloss black or gunmetal), & getting a set of SpiderTrax spacers to make them flush. :bluejump:

And by "headlights", you're referring to the DRL's...? I have to use the switch/dial on the left stalk to turn the headlights OFF or ON. I haven't tried it but if the 4Runner is like other vehicles, the lights won't come on when the vehicle starts if the E-brake is applied... Maybe get in the...

To me, that's too much rake... The front needs to be slightly higher (~ 3/4"), IMO. But it looks better than stock, that's for sure ! :bravo:

Thanks ! My 2014 Tacoma DCSB was white, but I had black wheels. They were actually 4th Gen 4runner Sport 17" wheels I had powdercoated. I was feelin' a change, and dig the white/bronze look. I worked the wheels in on the deal when I bought the truck, as well as the Heritage grill... Driver side...

Sprayed the front valence with white PlastiDip... Color doesn't match perfectly, but I just wanted it white and the PlastiDip helps protect it a bit from rock chips ! Gonna do the rear as soon as it warms up, or I get some propane to heat the garage.

While the Chinese eBay grill looks like a killer deal for $160'ish USD... I'm glad I had the dealership throw in the OEM Heritage Grill for free with my purchase ! :dancin:

If you're only changing to TRD Pro wheels and going up 1/2" in overall tire diameter, you should be fine without a lift... :nod:
