Michelin LTX M&S2 no good in snow

I bought a 2006 4runner 4wd sport v6 in January of 2014 with the Michelin LTX MS/2 on it and about 10k miles on them. I noticed when I left a light (or tried to stop at one) the truck wouldn't stop very well and it would spin when leaving (until the computer would kick in and kill the engine)...

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

I am somewhat surprised by some of the replies by some people on my recent post. I wasn't comparing Toyota and GM leather, I was stating what I missed about my previous vehicle. Must have struck a nerve. Originally posted by gshadow325 Yep, the leather was tore along the seams and I had it...

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

bpowa Yeah it is all personal opinion. I dig the 4runner and love the power of the 4.0. Can't wait to lift it, put wheels, tires, bumpers, sliders, roof rack etc on it.

What did everyone pay for their 4th gen?

My deal wasn't a retail deal, I bought my 2006 4runner Sport 4x4 auto with 141,000 miles December 2013 from my step dads work on a sealed bid auction. It was his personal work truck and I paid $8000. I wasn't really in the market for a new ride but couldn't pass up the deal and I knew it's...

    JacksonRally 2006 V8 4Runner

I LOVE the Subie!! I am gonna say with all the other comments and compliments on it we may need some more details; specifically on the 6 bolt axles front and rear! Sucks about the tires.

markaidan, love the playing card idea, I am totally going to use it! Runner looks great, BTW. Thanks! EDIT: I see I have made an error, BlindT4R was using the cards... my mistake. I really like both rigs!

    1992 4runner build

It has been quite a while since I posted any updates on this rig. Started building another rig that will be more for the harder trails. At this time I am going to fix the front end with a used 5.29:1 gear set, get an alignment, fix the head(s), head gasket(s), valve cover gaskets and install a...

Home on the Highway - San Francisco to Ushuaia, Argentina in an 87 4Runner

I know there are many here who have already said "holy crap" and "thanks", etc and I have to agree COMPLETELY!! I can't thank you enough for the fact that you are doing it, documenting it and brought your wife. That is SO awesome!! Living vicarously...:keyboard:

    1992 4runner build

Wagglyfawn, there are several vehicles on their lids at this 4x4 location... it makes getting parts out easier....:pimp: I am leaning toward SAS cuz I know it will hold up better to the harder trails. We'll see...
