Yellow top, as in Optima Yellow Top battery... I didn't really do much troubleshooting other then change which side the voice promts come from to test. I just dont understand how a battery could affect one aspect of the radio. I put the stock battery back in and it works fine.

I have two amps in my 04. Both running from the remote wire off the aftermarket radio. With the sub amp plugged in, my radio reception sux! as soon as I pull the remote from that amp, reception works. SO, any recommendation on where to get a second remote wire for the second amp? Or any...

I talked to Eclipse, they say the steering wheel controls only freq not presets while listening to radio. (this was different in earlier models) Also, to confirm...I did not require a PAC adapter to get steering wheel controls working.

nope, I have 04 Sport...and the kit looks similar to the one u just posted. Your install looks better with flush mount. On your eclipse, does the steering wheel change your presets, or just freq on FM?

Lowpro, any idea what kit was used on your 4Runner w/JBL? I just replaced my AVN5435 with the 726e and used same kit, but it's not as nice and flushmount as yours!
