I recently bought it used and have no reason to think they have been changed out, so I would say original.

The code for the CEL was 0420, so it is in the neighborhood of bad O2 sensor and/or bad cat. The truck drives fine. I have yet to notice anything different in how it drives. I haven't paid much attention to the gas mileage because I just assume it's going to get bad mileage, so I can't say...

So the cause of my CEL turns out to be a "dead" catalytic converter (two different mechanics agree, so assuming I'm not being ripped off). They suggested changing out both of them because the other one is operating at the low end of functional. I'm being told that it is about $1,200...

I bought this 4Runner in October and drove it from Boise to Portland. The CD player and radio seemed to work fine. I replaced it almost immediately, so very little personal use. $40 + shipping. Jason
