    Windshield ticks, creaks, noises

Bringing this thread back from the dead for some poor soul like me who might have been at their wit's end on this thing. Short answer is that dubveeT4R's fix took care of what has been a year long debacle for me. In case you missed it... So... if you are still reading... here was everything...

    drl on/off in techstream

Just verified with dealership (I'm actually employed by an auto group with a Toyota franchise), there is not a customization setting in Techstream for the DRLs on my 2016. For now I just used the relay pin bend method and that will work good enough. I actually switched out the foglights to the...

    2015 changes?

Traded in my 2013 Limited for a 2015 Limited this morning. So far the only changes I've noticed: - 12v "wall outlet" plug in center console is gone. - Memory seats (this was one of the main reasons I traded) - Heated AND ventilated seats (just heated before) - Nav/Audio screen is a little...

cargo liner for rear sliding tray

This is correct. I got an email back from our Toyota store this morning and this is the same part number. This is in black, other colors may of course be a different part #. J

cargo liner for rear sliding tray

I just bought a 13 Limited and I probably researched what kind of mat to use on the sliding tray more than anything else on the entire truck. Prior to this vehicle I had an 07 Limited with the fold up cargo shelf, and although I love Weathertech (I had the floor liners front and back, and have...

Anyone interested in HIDs for their 2006 - 2009 - Check this site out...

I was reading in my Modified Mag about a company called The Retrofit Source that makes all different types of HID kits for vehicles. They offer a kit for vehicles already equipped with halogen projectors that uses a simple bolt in HID projector. Simply remove the old projector, bolt in the new...

    My gas pedal got stuck!

Many are also quick to forget that the Lexus in question had the incorrect floor mats in the vehicle. They were not Lexus mats and there is some question whether they were designed for that vehicle at all. Some preliminary reports were that they may have been Toyota mats (ie, for a Camry...

    My gas pedal got stuck!

Sorry to come in on this a little late... The only vehicles before 2011 that had the brake override system installed were the hybrids (Prius, Camry, Highlander). As part of the 90L recall, this system was installed on the regular Camry, Avalon and Highlander. The Tundra/Tacoma software does...

4Runnin photos from the mountains of NC

The colors in Western NC, especially high altitude are perfect right now. Some shots are only so so because a lot of trees have dropped, but there are a TON of shots that the colors are perfect. You can see in this shot with my Nikon. A few bare trees in the bottom left kinda dulls the shot a...

4Runnin photos from the mountains of NC

Our cabin was right on the outskirts of West Jefferson. We go every year in mid-October. We also spent some time around Linville Falls and Linville Gorge. BTW... whenever you are near Linville, you have GOT to eat at Pappy's BBQ. We left very fat and happy. J

4Runnin photos from the mountains of NC

Spent the weekend in the mountains of NC and snapped a few shots with my iPhone. Sorry... no hardcore offroading, but still a few cool photos IMHO. Man... even just some backroad trails in the moutains are a ton of fun for me after getting so used to my other car (a track-spec Honda S2000)...

    Heat/Ac Bulb Replacement

As i've said in the other threads with this concern, I recommend you replace all the bulbs while you are in there. No need to take it apart and replace one bulb and have to do it all over again for a different bulb in 3 months. J
