Ok, I spent the evening install the unit and since I had a Top of the Line Alpine single din with pocket I had to use the stock brackets to install the double din. Using those brackets it puts the square part of the outside of the black part of the AVN flush with the 4runner

so just hook the parking brake wire to any ground point on the 4-runner?
