It's not the 2010 4runner. It says landcruiser prado in big bold letters below the photo. The Prado is sold overseas, but the closest body style is the Lexus GX (nearly identical to the current prado w/ slight changes to the front grille/headlights and tail lights).

If this vehicle is mostly for road trips and you plan to load it with your entire family + gear, I'd go w/ the V8 since you might need the additional power for passing at high altitude. I have the LX470, and I had no problems whatsoever passing other vehicles in uphill passing lanes at 10K ft...

I've seen a concept "FJ Runner" in recent issues of Landcruiser magazine (JDM market). It has the same type of doors as the FJC, but front and windshield look like it's from a FJC, rear side quarter looks like the current 4runner (there were no pics of the rear).

Is it a "ticking" sound? If so, then maybe a cracked exhaust manifold. This usually doesn't happen until @ 100K mi, though.

I also use the YZZD3 on my 86 4runner, 4 cyl. Dealer parts guy said it fit, and it does.

To my knowledge, the Toyota rust warranty covers the body only and it has to rust all the way through. A friend of mine w/ a landcruiser lives right on the ocean in San Diego, parked the vehicle outside for 3 yrs. There were rust spots on the tailgate, dealer wouldn't cover it under warranty...

On my LC, when you turn the ignition on, you hear the brake booster pump go for maybe 30 sec or less. From what the tech at the dealer told me, you just hold the brake pedal down w/ ignition on to bleed the rears while the fronts are done using the traditional pumping method. Shouldn't the pump...
