No, I'm not assuming the new wheel's backspace is the same as the original. I was trying to use the link DannyLlama sent me which asks for the original wheel offset in order to know if the new wheel / tire size / offset would work. edit: I see the chart you sent me calculates all of that. Thanks!

Can anyone tell me if I did the calculation for the stock SR5 rim's offset correctly? I'm trying to use a website that asks for the stock offset and I'm not sure if I calculated it right. If anyone who knows this stuff could confirm it would be appreciated!

Thanks, I had looked at the chart the other day but forgotten it had the backspace. So if I add 1" to the 7" SR5 rims = 8" and divide by 2 = 4" center line. Then I take the 4.5" backspace - the 4" center line = .5 multiplied by 25.4 = +12.7 mm offset. Did I do that correctly?

Interesting idea - I had only thought about the angle change - not requesting extra width. How much extra did you request on yours? And did you request it only at the front? Or an extra X amount across the whole thing including the bump out?
