i bought a used 2005 4runner not long ago. recently i noticed the axles below the car and the stock skid plate seem to be slightly rusting. is this anything i should be concerned with? what's the best way to prevent it from spreading? wd-40?

i dont know much about cars no, but am definetely trying to learn. my 4runner is actually in good condition, but we have a 95 tercel at home - lots of squeaking from the front right tire assembly..sounds like bad springs or suspension..possibly CV Joint?
