Asked the service dept for a quote and he said he would never sell me one due to all the ridiculousness Toyota hasn't addressed (shutoff when door opens, range, etc). Referred me to another shop up the street, who quoted me an Avital for $350, which includes an app. Any other remote start...

Resurrecting this thread due to the ongoing ass-pain from the repairs... After an initial 5 weeks and $13k in repairs, my poor 4runner has been back in that damn shop 4 more times. There's a clunking in the front end that they can't figure out, they repair something every time, say it's fixed...
