Engine shop had a two week turnaround time. Block, heads and intake look a lot better.

Question for you motor guys. I am getting my cylinders bored since they are out of tolerance. My question is can I use the old connecting rods with the new pistons. The wrist pin for the old piston is pressed in and the new ones come with clip retainers.

The head gaskets that I ordered are DNJ from Rock Auto. I have read that a lot of people swear by OEM head gaskets but I ordered most of my other parts from Rock Auto. Has anyone had issues with the DNJ gaskets?
