long story short set timing to specs. still showing code for TPS..showing code for switch signal..still no low end power.

Looks like my '87Runner! I paid $2200, brought it up out of Phoenix, but it don't have any of those problems. Follow your heart... it was love at first sight for me!! Good luck and enjoy it if you got it!! (The lady I bought it from had it since it was 3 years old and took very good care of it)...

My '87 SR5 'Runner has a Cargo Light switch, where's the cargo light at?? I switch it on, but can't find the light....

'87 SR5 Runner (Mitzie). I started out changing the valve cover gasket. While I'm at it, lifters a little noisy.. Found intake and exhaust (clearance) all set at .008. Set exhaust at .012, found a couple intakes loose too. Hope my valves are ok. Sounds sooo much better. Now, on to lukewarm cabin...

just thinkn Most of my problems is the bigger trim inside,seat belt assembly covering, trim around the bottom of the hard top where it attaches. The door panels are ok , the head liner is good. The visors doable for now. The trim covering the post between windows on the passenger side is warped...
