You do not need to use a dealership for maintenance for a leased vehicle, but the maintenance has to be performed. The maintenance was done because it was a leased vehicle.

Are there still any new 2009's on dealer lots? I really don't like the looks of the new 2010. Plus MSRP of the 5th gen just seems way out of line. Plus they have discontinued the Sport. I would think I could get a good price on a 2009 if there are still any around.

I agree with Thai. The fronts of both look a lot alike. I also think both are ugly vehicles (especially the front ends) The 5th gen.....I'm just not feeling it yet. I look at the 5th gen and just think "Honda Pilot without the floating grill". I can picture the Honda emblem on the grill.

Actually, there are reviews stating just the opposite about the new I4 for the 2009 and 2010 RAV. One is entitled "No V6 needed here..." Yet I believe that the new I4 in the RAV is more powerful than the one for the new 4Runner!

I really can't tell anything about the interior from the pics....not sure how some of you can comment so strongly one way or another about it. Seeing a vehicle in real life and in a color you personally like can make all the difference.
