Driving style affects mpg more than anything else. I knew a couple who each had the exact same model of vehicle. The husband was consistently getting 2-3 mpg more than his wife. They did an experiment when they traded vehicles for two weeks. Guess what happened....the wife's vehicle magically...
Whatever the price is on the sticker, that is not what he actually paid for it....unless he is a fool. If he did pay "sticker", that's his problem. No 4Runner has ever been worth $50,000 IMHO.
Options on a used vehicle do not add as much to the price as they do on a new vehicle....just the way...
I finally got my Westin Safari Light Bar.
I noticed that the two mounting tabs welded to the bar for mounting driving lights are not exactly even. While one is level, the other is slightly sloped downward.
Am I being too picky? Should the mounting tabs be exactly even, or is some variation the...
You do not need to use a dealership for maintenance for a leased vehicle, but the maintenance has to be performed.
The maintenance was done because it was a leased vehicle.
Are there still any new 2009's on dealer lots?
I really don't like the looks of the new 2010. Plus MSRP of the 5th gen just seems way out of line. Plus they have discontinued the Sport.
I would think I could get a good price on a 2009 if there are still any around.
Please don't put a child in a car seat in a third row. The third row in SUV's are never included in the crash test data (I don't think you'd really want to see the results). Most third rows in SUV's are in the crush zone of the vehicle.
I'd never let a kid ride in a third row seat. Most third...
I agree with Thai. The fronts of both look a lot alike.
I also think both are ugly vehicles (especially the front ends)
The 5th gen.....I'm just not feeling it yet.
I look at the 5th gen and just think "Honda Pilot without the floating grill". I can picture the Honda emblem on the grill.
Actually, there are reviews stating just the opposite about the new I4 for the 2009 and 2010 RAV. One is entitled "No V6 needed here..."
Yet I believe that the new I4 in the RAV is more powerful than the one for the new 4Runner!
I don't prefer black interiors either (does Toyota offer any model with a black interior?). But I do like the dark charcoal interiors offered in most of their SE vehicles.
I really like European interiors....a lot of which are very dark. To me, dark interiors are rich/sporty looking.
The...
Okay....I'm a little slow. I just caught on that there will be no Sport Edition.
I'm not familiar with every single vehicle Toyota sells, but most of the one's I've seen have a Sport Edition.
My wife recently got a RAV4 Sport. The only reason she got the SE was for the dark interior.
We...
I really can't tell anything about the interior from the pics....not sure how some of you can comment so strongly one way or another about it.
Seeing a vehicle in real life and in a color you personally like can make all the difference.
But how durable are they? I've had five 4 cyl. engine vehicles and I've driven all of them way over 200,000 miles prior to selling them. I've only had one 8 cyl. engine car and that thing didn't even last 100,000 miles.
I'm not saying that I think the 4 cyl is best for the new 4Runner. I think...
