DashCommand - An Alternative to Scangauge

damn...thanks Robb235 That was the main reason for buying. I wonder if someone has developed a formula I can put in and come up with an 'estimate'. I know there's some brilliant folks out there that can probably develop some formula. junr

DashCommand - An Alternative to Scangauge

Was everyone able to get the Range section to work? Not sure if since my fuel gauge isn't working, this feature will not work as well. The fuel flow and the inst mpg are functioning. The main reason I purchased this was to get an idea on how much fuel I have left. I added in the correct tire...

    $5,000 for 4runner?

The pictures were a bit blurry but from what I could tell, the plate is from PA. As others have said, that ad seems a bit odd. junr

DashCommand - An Alternative to Scangauge

I like it, especially since it can tell you how much fuel you have...my gauge shows either F or E :) and the wife hates that with a passion! Do you know if there are any limitations to the year of the 4Runner? If I recall, my 96 I wouldn't be able to get the trans temps with ScanGuage. Thanks...

California 99 4Runner - looking to replace both Catalytic Converters

Not trying to hi-jack the thread but I need to replace one of my cats. I did a few searches and I got the impression if I went with aftermarket, I'll throw a code shortly after as the computer will think there's an issue. Is this still the case? some of the threads I read were several years...

    TreadWright coupon

I purchased a set of the AT's about a year and a half ago, just ordered Duratrac's to replace them. I don't like how they perform in the rain. I had two that were out of round, provided the paperwork from the Toyota Dealership who did the mount and balance and they sent me two without any...

Getting a Pines aka Wharton State Park, NJ, February 8th, 2014

Correct, the middle is a lap belt. I've had all three in before and felt my son was safe but the wife doesn't. I wish there was a way to add a shoulder belt...maybe I'll look into the little seat in the back! junr

Getting a Pines aka Wharton State Park, NJ, February 8th, 2014

I would but the wife goes nuts when I put all three in the back of the 4R, due to the lap belt. Mine are 7,5,5. I know they would all have a blast too...when not screaming and pinching each other! junr

Getting a Pines aka Wharton State Park, NJ, February 8th, 2014

I may have missed it, but what time is everyone meeting? I'd like to join but my wife has a crossfit competition in the am and I will be home with the kids. Hopefully I can make it over for some fun. I'm just outside of Philly in Ardmore. junr

Anyone want to help in Philadelphia area?

I may jump in on the adventure on the 8th depending on the timing. My wife is doing a crossfit competition and I have the kids. I'm in Ardmore, just outside of the city. junr

    Show me your rack

Correct, I was thinking with the bars extended as far as forward as they are, it wouldn't fit. I currently use a rack on the roof assuming the weather is nice. Then again...I tend to be a fair weather rider/racer :) I'll have to look into it though, always good to have an alternative. junr

    Show me your rack

I like the idea of an internal storage location, but this wouldn't work for my tri bike. I guess I could put the window down but that wouldn't work if it was raining. Then again, I could lay the bike down in inclement weather. Good thinking though. junr

What Did You Do To Your 3rd Gen Today?

Loaded up the bike and hit the track. First time in 2 years, took a little bit to get back into the groove. junr

    Don't buy from RockAuto.com

I picked up the trans cooler recently...just need to find the time to do the install! Contemplating replacing the rad just for "insurance", I'm approaching 178k. junr
