Feels like t4r.org is rolling on 15yo aftermarket LBJs

I totally forgot about Yotatech. That's basically where I started in forums 18 years ago, before finding my way over here. Talk about memory lane!

    Need Rear Locker Acutator

Haven't tried it in a while but it worked when I put it in. I also have retrofitted wiring, since mine didn't come with it from the factory. But it's still factory plugs and seems like it was all plug n play. I actually don't drive the 4Runner all that much these days. Sad, I know haha.

Feels like t4r.org is rolling on 15yo aftermarket LBJs

don't think there is anything any of us can do. There's only handful of mods left that frequent the site, including myself, and none of us can get Admin help. Unless you have A LOT of money and give the owners an offer to buy it that they can't turn down, I think we're just here to ride it out.

Feels like t4r.org is rolling on 15yo aftermarket LBJs

We're trying to keep it alive guys, but Admin is nowhere to be found. We've been voicing our concerns for years now; 100's of pings, messages, etc etc.. Nothing gets him our way to help with the ongoing site issues and help we need that moderators don't have access to. They're clearly paying...

    Need Rear Locker Acutator

just for reference.. They have these on Amazon for cheaper than RockAuto and it's pretty quick shipping with Prime. They're also Aisin. I bought one back in 2020 with no issues. https://a.co/d/04aKwhe6

Any regrets with Rear bumper with swingout?

calimobber I've had 2 versions of the CBI (previously mentioned no longer in production) First one was a full single arm swing that I sold to fund other projects and the other, my current, is a dual swing arm. Speaking from experience, I hated the single arm. Overall operation was difficult...

New here. New 2002 4runner owner

Carbineone Assemblies/mounting should be 100% compatible regardless of the 2wd/4wd trim. Like you said, maybe the specs of each are different but mounting is the same.

    2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 parts vehicle / front-end collision

it's not your problem if they have any money or not. THEY put you out of a vehicle and THEY have no way to cover it with insurance. I have little to no sympathy for people that cause this sort of distress and are negligent, purposeful or not. If you don't have insurance definitely don't let your...

    2000 Toyota 4Runner SR5 parts vehicle / front-end collision

tpierpoint Sorry, I'm not understanding.. Are you saying that they don't have insurance to cover it and you don't have full coverage to pick up the bill to replace/repair it? If so, this is a perfect opportunity for small claims court. FWIW, I don't think it's worth fixing it. You're better...

    Weird random noise sometimes

sounds like you got a duck in there! check your fan (fan clutch) for any play. Could be drive belt. Pull on each of them and see if there is any slop. Maybe a belt tensioner got loose. Report back.

    Floating Stereo that fits!

I just finished up putting in a single din android auto/apple cp stereo with floating screen. It's wider/rectangular aspect vs the square ones, so it fits perfect in the space. The unit provides quite a bit of back/forward and up/down adjustment for the screen during install, so you can...

What 33" tires do you recommend? Also what about tire load range?

    1. What tire brands do you recommend? Of the 3 you listed, I personally prefer the Wildpeaks. I have the same size tire (for 17's) on my 5th Gen 4Runner. They've been amazing tires all around. I also had the Duratrac's. Nothing terrible to say about them, but so far I like the Wildpeaks in the...
