    Partial shift into overdrive (A340F)?

That sounds exactly like my 2000 Tundra only described better than I have ever been able to. I've been starting to wonder if I have a 4 1/2 or 5 speed transmission sometimes. Both situations you mention sound familier to me but I don't think it feels normal at all. I hope you get some helpful...

    Blanca Peak Trail

Congratulations, I've walked that trail enough times to know that I wouldn't want to try it with my daily driver. Do you have aftermarket gas tank skids? It looked like your front was stock. What was your winch? Have you had trouble with it before?

What killer deal did you get for your 4runner?

tundra trd struts I got coil springs and all four billstien HD shocks for 30$ on CL. The guy said they had been taken off the truck when it had about 4000 miles on it and had been sitting is his garage ever since. I put the fronts on my 4runner for sure and the rear shocks on my tundra.

    Rear Bumper rust...replacement part.

don't have to remove the ends I just replaced my center section with a section I made of 3/16 and 1/4 steel. I didn't have to remove my ends at all, there was plenty of play to remove the old and slip in the new.

    Modified rear bumper

That's one of the good questions that I hadn't thought of. I'll do some jacking around on it and try to find out.

    Modified rear bumper

Has anyone ever done this? I had removed my hitch because it hung so low but then I was left without any tow points on the rear end. I'm not a serious trail runner but I still didn't feel comfortable without any attachment points in the back so I started looking at bumpers. I really didn't want...

    Is this normal?

I was looking around under my 2001 this evening and noticed what I thought looked strange. My OME 906 springs appear to be totally compressed on the top half of the spring. I know they are progressive but I would think there would still be a little space at normal resting position. This is even...

Unhappy with Tundra lift with 906s

I have the same springs with Tundra HD shocks in front and OME N86 shocks in back. I don't think I could be more happy with the way it rides, although I think a lot of the nice ride can be attributed to the Falken Wildpeak tires. I would suspect the rear shocks and tires may be making your ride...

    Toyota windshield

My Tundra has an aftermarket windshield and even with an ample dose of rain-x does not shed rain near as well as the 4runner(even though it doesn't really rain in Kansas anymore). On toyotapartsales.com the windshield is 723$ so I guess the dealer would be 800-1000. Probably no worth it. Novus...

    Toyota windshield

Yesterday I got a huge chip and small crack in my nearly pristine windshield in a construction zone on the hiway. Needless to say I was peeved. I am having NOVUS try to repair it and I hope they can because my insurance will pay for the repair but I don't have a glass replacement rider on my...

    Happy with my Falken Wildpeaks

My mudflaps are just off the shelf from O'rielys.

    Happy with my Falken Wildpeaks

This past weekend I got to try out my new treads, Falken Wildpeak A/T. I drove about 1500 miles and did a little 4wheeling in Colorado. It was also the first trip with my new suspension, Tundra TRD coils and hd shocks in front with OME 906s and OME n86 in back. Everything performed just like I...

    Yet another highway Shaking problem

Maybe I just got lucky but my 98 drives smoother than it ever has. Long story, short, I'm trying to sell it so I wantet to try one more time to get rid if the shimmy that I have always had. Mine would also kind of come and go, smooth for a couple miles, vibrate for a couple miles. So I took it...

    Coilovers ready to go

I wasn't sure how the N86's would ride. For the price I think I'll try them anyway. Do the tundra rears work on a 4runner?

    Coilovers ready to go

This evening I put together my tundra trd coil overs with the tundra bilstien shock, tundra isolator and 4runner top hat. I got an incredible deal of the springs, front and rear shocks from a 2004 Tundra that had been removed with less than 4000 miles on them. They had been sitting in this guys...
