I sold my 99' and still have the rear springs for it. Are the 99' still the tall springs or does it have to be the 99' Highlander edition? I am looking to sell the springs.

OK, the easiest way to go about removing the rear spring is to leave the tire on the side of the axle that you are not removing the spring. I left the tire on the passenger side of the axle and removed the driver side - vice versa. I found this method to be super easy! I didn't even need to jack...

Hey guys Ok I got the shock off and un bolted the sway bar links so the sway bar is loose. I tried jacking one side of the axle to try to get the spring out but no luck. I can't get the spring out. Is there a trick to this? Am I missing something?

Ok so I removed the lower shock bolt but the rear shock is still seated..it won't droop down. What am I doing wrong?

I'm trying to install new springs on right now but don't want to mess anything up. I just need to remove lower shock bolt and the sway bar link, correct? After that I can just pivot one side of the axle to get the spring?

Cool, thanks guys. On my Tacoma I had to remove the UCA from the spindle to install a lift properly. Such a pain in the ass! A couple good whacks with a hammer to the spindle did the trick. What are the bolts in the back? Hopefully this will be as easy as it sounds.

Hey guys I am ready to put on the coils for my lift and was just wondering on the bolt sizes on the lower shock bolt, UCA ball joint, upper nuts, etc. Also..what kind of sockets do I need for the rear?
