I know the feeling man, I was super sad to see my '99 go even though we had an '11 waiting for us.

Got the tires and Bilsteins with rear coil spacers put on this weekend. I tried to take photos of the wheel wells (sorry, its a crappy cell phone) to show the clearance I have with the larger tires and the suspension.

What made you go with the SAW coils?

New tires and suspension going on Got my AT KO2's in 275/70/17s from Tire Rack (their GA warehouse is in the next town over). Also (in passenger seat) are front and rear Bilstein 5100s with a 1.5 Daystar rear spacer for leveling. The whole setup is going on this morning!

I know what you mean with the groceries. Either get an aftermarket net to secure the stuff or drop your rear windshield and access the stuff at first to ensure you don't lose anything. I had this happen with a gallon can of paint that opened upon impact with the ground. NOT COOL....

Agree with all points here. We can fit our three kids (5y/o, 3y/o, and 10m/o) in the middle row with some maneuvering of the car seats if everyone comes along in my truck.

A decade later As the OP that started this thread over 10 years ago, I'm just astounded and so happy that this poll/thread is still going with people still passing on their thoughts and tips. It just goes to show what a great community this can be when people are passionate about their hobbies...

Make sure your differential fluids are changed at regular intervals. Hopefully your dad has done proper maintenance on the 4Runner, that'll carry the 4WD system a long way too. I change mine every 3 oil changes (12K-15K) with my amount of 4WD use. Don't sweat the sliding off the road, your 4WD...
