Title says it all...I came off the road a few days ago, got in my 1st gen, turn the key, and the wipers were on...can't turn them off. I disconnected the plug to the motor just to drive home. Looked in the big orange book, and didn't see a location for the relay...just a description.

Looking for info on this...maybe my search-fu is weak...but looking at doing this.

My wife got tired of me driving her 1-ton dually...so she ponied up for the GT25R Garrett T3 upgrade from LCE Performance. Swap complete today...took her for a spin. *It was the turbo. And now we are all good. In a dirty, naughty, filthy way...SCOOOOOOOOOOOT.

CHEAP project Runner...not mine...just putting it out there for a friend. Unsure of all the details, but I think it's a late 80's. Motor has been rebuilt, and was a DD until a couple years ago. He thinks the head gasket may be blown, but says everything else is in good order, with minimal...

I need to disengage, or effectively "turn off" the turbo for a bit. Is there a way to keep it from spooling up at all without taking it off and plumbing around the holes/gaps?

When the rear window stops working, you start removing trim, testing the circuits, researching the problem, pricing relays and motors...just to realize you unknowingly bumped the wiper switch.

Yes...I like yellow on a 1st gen...you never see that.
