Check out Rockdawg84's thread on this site. Mustang calipers, Trooper rotors, and you keep the stock ebrake. It's on my list. It keeps getting pushed back in favor of things like getting my fecking truck running, but it's on my list.

LOL my list is like that too..... Everything is on hold till I figure out the coolant leak (think its from the head gasket. :nono: & yes it was a fresh rebuild)

I've also heard of using VW jetta brakes. Heres a link on a zuk forum for upgrading toy axles that I had bookmarked. I planned on doing this mod some time in the future.

But the best thing you can do for rear breaks, is get rid of the LSPV.

I'm using this kit from trail gear and it works really good. Took some time to get my proportioning valve tuned right but the difference compared to drums is night and day. I am planning on changing it out to something like rockdawg84's setup with the mustang caliper cuz I don't like not having a parking brake but that's a future project. It's one of those "do it right the first time" mods that I overlooked when I built my rear axle.
