Hey all, I thought I would document my fuel tank strap replacement on my 2003. As you can imagine I have some rust issues from being from Maine and recently I noticed my fuel tank strap was rusted through. So I ventured forth onto the interwebs and found TOYOTA was pretty proud of their straps...

Lol well that is good to know now. Where are the recovery points on the front? I knew it was rusted but was not paying attention when the tow truck driver was hooking it up. I didn't care too much anyways at the time. I had a broken upper ball joint in a snow storm. I plan to have a friend...

I don't know for sure but I am going to find out very soon as my strap is busted. The tank won't fall but you should get it replaced. :roadkill:

Hey all, Has anyone replaced a fuel tank strap? I found mine rusted and broken this weekend and would like to replace it. Bonus question since I am too tired to google that. Where can I find the straps to replace them? Thanks all Maineiac :fish:

Mobile 1 15K oil change, Lubed the drive line, Buffed the headlights and found a rusted and broken fuel tank strap. Thank goodness for the skidplate!

I am not sure if anyone got any of the denso plugs or not. I ended up with eight plugs shipped to me all in one box individually wrapped in bubble wrap. Not in the red boxes like the last time I bought them. So not sure what the deal was there but I will let you know if they don't work for...
