    What the hell!??

Gps you have to calculate your miles via GPS! bc of your larger tires, your tripometer is reading low. i did the same thing after upgrading to 33's. run a gps and compare it to your tripometer and you'll see the difference.

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

i got it aligned again (after i lifted it from the spacers to the new struts). and it made no difference in the vibrations at 60 mph. i only drove it 50 miles between lifting it the second time and aligning it. and it started vibrating right away after i had lifted it the second time. they...

can a suspension lift cause vibrations?

thanks to the expertise here, i was able to get my lift installed (tundra billie 5100s on the second perch with toytech/eibach coils). right away i found that as soon as i get to around 60mph, i get a vibration. my front tires are feathered, but it didn't do this with my spacer lift (1.5...

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

new question okay, everything worked, and seemed perfect. problem is this shake i'm getting at 60 mph. everyone says it's just bc the front tires are feathered, but it didn't do it until right after i lifted it. if it was the tires, wouldn't it have done it when i had the daystar coilspacers...

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

i need to get her washed before i get t4r worthy pics. hopefully up by tomorrow. :) i didn't measure center of hub to fender (like i should have)--i just measured from the ground to bottom of fender flare. with 265/70/16 i got: 39 1/2" front left 39 1/2" + a fraction front right (with...

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

success!!! i am so thankful for this forum, and all the helpful advice here! i unbolted the lower ball joint like "the kid" advised, and it worked perfectly! i test drove it today, and i noticed some vibration only when i got to 60 on the freeway. is that probably just bc it needs to be...

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

your rig looks perfect. it's actually one that really gave me the bug to start modding. i can't believe yours is only on the first perch. it looks so high--esp. with your gear. i'm glad i can learn from your blown struts so i don't have to repeat that. i had been torn between 2nd and 3rd...

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

lol. i just jacked it up, removed the wheels, and let it droop to full extension. when i unbolted everything (top three nuts and bottom strut bolt), it just slipped right out. should it not have? :)

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

great advice awesome. thank you for the pointers! are you running your shocks on the 3rd perch? i'm really torn on what perch to use. i'm running 8/8.5 wraps in the back, and i really want to bring the front up close to it (with the back just a little higher). i don't have armor or...

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

That's what I wondered By just removing the four bolts on the bottom? Or do I need any special tools? I was hoping you would chime in--I knew you would know.

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

Thank you for all the responses Okay, so going down one perch should fit in no prob? I really don't want to start taking apart a-arms and ball joints.

    New Lift Won't Fit!!!

After months of waiting on backordered Bilsteins, they finally came in. Tundra Adjustable Bilsteins (5 settings of adjustment) paired with Toytec/Eibach coils (112-620 Toytec/Eibach front coil lift springs for 4runner). Worked today on removing factory coils/shocks, compressed, and reused top...

    Swimmerboy2112's Build Thread

awesome! that's exactly what i needed to know. toytec adjustable coils for 4runners with the tundra adjustable 5100 bilsteins. i had been looking at getting the tundra coils (y/y, y/b) and pairing them with the adjustable bilsteins for the tundras, but just wasn't sure if i would get enough...
