What do you use the 3/8 inch for? What size socket do I use for the lugs. I have a 2005 SR5.

For Christmas I'm asking for a torque wrench so I can rotate my tires. I have a couple questions. Which size should I get, 1/2 inch or3/8 inch? What should I set it at when I'm putting the lugs back on? Any particular type of torque wrench you like better than others? Thanks.

Thanks for the great information. Is there anyway to hack the USA Spec so you can extend the switch? It would be nice to keep your options open until you figure out how you are going to use it. I've read here that most people finish with a topper of Z-8. They say it really brings out the shine. I'm glad you asked that question as I'm about to do the same to my new 05 runner. I think I'll wait until the summer humidity lowers as I've read about long drying times during humid conditions.
