PP Coils 4x4Runner09....Did you install both Fr & Rr Coils and Bilsteins, or just Rear...? Also did you get the Bilsteins from Performance as well...? Thanks

Performance Coils That sounds like a valid option.....i'm not looking for a really "high" lift, I just want that look that the '99's have, which looks to be about a 1" to 2" lift. Who on here has installed them...? I had a '99 Jeep Cherokee Classic, it sat low to the ground in my opinion, so...

    '02 4Runner Ltd

RonMaiden Ron that pic you posted showing the two rear views....that explains what i'm seeing, but you see it even more so from a side view, this '02 Ltd i'm looking at appears like it's sags abit in the Rr, but it's obviously just the shortened coils. It was owned by a Doctor, certainly not...

Coils Sounds like Coils would be the cheapest option to slightly raise this..... Wonder how one can check if used coils are good or not....is their some sort of compression test or means of measuring them?

    '02 4Runner Ltd

Their is an '02 4Runner Ltd at the local dealer on the used car lot...it has been there since last summer with no takers, but the price has always been high which may explain why it has never sold. Only 83,000 kms (50,000 miles). It looks like it has never left the dealer showroom....beautiful...

    Full Time 4WD

What about your Full Time 4WD on your 02 4Runner Ltds....do you use it much in nasty driving conditions, highway driving during storms, etc? Just leave it in and drive....is it reliable, dependable, any issues...? Traction well at highway speeds?

    2002 4Runner Ltd

Geez that '01 does seem to sit lower, has approx 25,000 kms more on it as well.....maybe it's all that side molding and fender flares that make the '02 seem to appear to "sag", so to speak. Anyone tried to install the 1" longer springs from a '2000 model or older? Maybe asking for trouble?

    2002 4Runner Ltd

Great info, thanks... KellyJ, you mentioned "the 2002 springs were shortened to make them less roll-prone." Might that explain why the 2002 Ltd's appear to "sag" or appear low on the Rear end...? I have a friend wiith an '01 and the butt seems to sit higher, looks better imho.. Bill

    Goodyear Wrangler ATS Silent Armour

Considering a set of Goodyear Wrangler AT/S Silent Armours for my '02 4Runner Ltd in OEM size.. I use to run Wrangler AT/S tires on my '96 Taco but that was before the newer "silent armour" types. Anybody have experience with these newer types?

    '01 or '02 4Runner

Hello, local toyota dealer has a pair of 3rd Gen 4Runners, one an '01 SR5 with approx 100,000 kms (60,000 miles), the other an '02 Ltd with approx 83,000 kms (50,000 miles). Neither looks like they've ever left the showroom, very nice condition. Both are pretty much loaded incl leather...
