I went through the harness, corrected that issue and re-did some other splices. I also added quick release injector connectors, re-taped and added better heat insulation to the rest of the harness.

Found one through Facebook.

The splice is obviously not factory. Also the wire color on on one set s/b white with red stripe, but are all just white. Vehicle was running fine b4 as far as I could tell.

1986 4runner turbo. I had to pull my engine wire harness to repair damaged wiring to the igniter. In doing so I came across what may or may not be an issue. The wire dia. shows the wires going from ECU port No. 10 going to # 2 and # 4 injectors, with No. 20 going to #1 and # 3 injectors...

Does anyone have one of these? It's part of the EGR Smog system. The 1986 4runner turbo I bought from Oregon needs one to pass smog. I need the valve and holder. Thanks Gary

The part in question is the idle-up adjustment screw for A/C and Power Steering. I highly recommend: "Toyota 22-RE Engine Overview" by California Trail Map on YouTube for a class on basic understanding of these engines.

One goes to the throttle body, the othe goes down into something. The 1986 4runner turbo I just bought doesn't have this, plus a lot of other parts. I've seen it in pictures of turbo engines and I'm just trying to figure things out. It came from Oregon to California and I need to get the smog...

I do not have any experience with this so I'll ask. Manual says multi meter ohm test s/b 1.5 to 3.0. Injectors all check at 3.0. Is that very good or close to bad? Thanks!
