    2nd Gen Clutch Master(?) Cylinder

Thanks for the reply Bucknut, but i have to correct you in saying, it (the master cylinder itself) actually is located in the cab. It doesnt have a resevoir ontop of it like your conventional master cylinder. The res is just on its own in the engine bay I'll take a couple of photos tonight to...

    2nd Gen Clutch Master(?) Cylinder

G;day guys, I have a 1991 SR5 Limited V6 3VZE - VZN130, and my clutch has given in. The master cylinder (i'm presuming) is located INSIDE the cab and connects directly to the clutch pedal. I'm wondering if anyone (I'm looking at my fellow 'Skips') can tell me where i can get a decently priced...

    91' Runner Small Issues

In regards to the steering 'Crunch' you should find that this is the steering bump/stop. I had this problem too, all you do is smear some oil on the stop, and the bit that hits the stop and the sound is gone. Just search on here or google for the location of the stop (its a bit hard to explain...

Idle slows to much when hot

Have you tried checking the diagnostics. Sounds to me like it may be an open curcuit from the oxygen sensor. May even be a good idea to test your ECT sensor.

So mine went from stock..... To this..... A 3inch exhaust bend powdercoated 'Mother of Pearl' with a plumbing flexi-coupling either end.

    ISR Mod for 3.0

I did this mod just Friday nite, i will post some pics soon or tomorrow. I noticed a BIG difference in throttle response, being ALOT smoother in take off and Truly a noticeable increase in power in take off. And it did make my exhaust slightly throatier (already have 2.5 inch sports setup on it)

    Hilux Surf

I just need to say that just being a RHD doesnt make it a Hilux Surf. We have both Surf's and 4Runners here in Oz. The Surfs are all imports which were built in japan. The 4Runners are all natural. The Surf's over here have a Green compl. plate on the fire wall where as the 4Runners have the...

    Cold Air Intake -- 3VZE

After some research i have found that it is the other way around. The flap actually controls the sensor. The sensor reads the flap's position (position which varies in respect to the amount of air flowing past/opening it) and sends the relevant data to the fuel management system, determining how...

    new owner

I'd start out by throwing away the stock air filter and putting a K&N High Flow filter in. You may feel an instant increase in power and a few extra Km's per tank.

    Cold Air Intake -- 3VZE

I put a K&N filter in mine also, and felt instant increase in power and i am now getting an extra 50km's per tank of fuel.

    WTF is this called?

I have seen them on 2nd Gen's but more so on Surf's than on the Runner. Obviously would still fit a Runner though.

    Cold Air Intake -- 3VZE

At risk of witnessing a s**t fight start between you two, how bout Mr. Pughe gets us some pics of his mates intake set-ups, and maybe a description of what was modified to make the engine run without the Air-Flow sensor..

    Cold Air Intake -- 3VZE

I have a 91 SR5 Limited 3VZE V6. I just NOW went outside, disconnected the MAF (which is actually a VAF in our trucks) and it started then stalled after 3ish seconds. Reconnected it and it started and ran normally. Disconnected it again and the same, stall after 3-5 seconds.
