My 97 has 108,560.... I heard the noise the first time about 8 months ago. It went away after a day and sounded like something was in between the rotor and the thin metal shield behind the rotor. It just recently came back last week and it is sometimes loud and others it is sort of hard to hear...

Thanks for the info.... I'm going to check the bearing this weekend. I don't have 2" spacers, but I have installed PP progressive rate springs. They raised my vehicle about 2", but I think is either the bearing or something that I can't find is scrubbing.

I have a '97 limited 4WD and I'm hearing a scrubbing/grinding noise coming from the front drivers side tire. The noise increases as the speed of the vehicle increases. I was wondering if anyone might have a clue what it could be. I'm thiking it could be one of or both axle bearings??

I have a 97 Limited with a complete tune-up and I get 22-23 on the interstate going 5mph or so over, and in the city doing stop and go driving it is 19-20.

My floor is just wet underneath the carpet.... that's why I think I may have 2 problems. The headliner is the wettest right at where the headliner meets the windshield, and I must have a leak around one of the gromets in the floor pan.

I have a 97 4Runner limited 4x4... I noticed during a bad rainstorm that the headliner from in front of the sunroof to the windshield is wet. Then I noticed that the passenger side floorboard is wet as well. I've read the reviews about the roof rack leaking, but the headliner is not wet any...
